I've tried everything........

All COM ports are working fine Camera connected to COM port 2 Mouse on COM port 1 When switched...mouse works on both COM ports so I know that both ports are enabled.

When I connect the camera via COM port 1 or 2 and then launch Adobe Photodeluxe 3.o software to begin to download pictures...I go to "Get Picture" and select the Largan digital 350 as listed and then get error message "Com Port error".

Twain_32 driver is installed properly...can't think of anything else to do.....by the way Largan tech support has yet to respond to my numerous request fro assistance.

Some possibilities: 1. Bad serial cable 2. Software setup, the software is not looking at Com 1 or Com2. 3. Bad connection at either the camera or the serial port.

If this camera had a removable memory card, I would suggest getting a parallel port card reader. Online, they go for about $40.
