Silver,

Have you been able to figure out how to turn it into gold yet?

HEE!

:)

Five harmonicas, so blind material world parents could shut up their material kids, so I could cook beans and rice in peace! LOL!!!

96 condoms? Why is this strange you ask? I'm married with two kids, who has sex? Least of our worries, KNOW WHAT I MEAN!

Did I sound tense right there? Sorry.

120 m-80's to hurl at people because I may need to scare them and not hurt them.

I guess I (Mom) would be the one to HURT THEM.

I bought them for kids.

I am laughing, but the thought processes I went through this last year was not funny!

I was forced to think about my reaction to HORRIBLE situations. HARD THINKING!!

Now its "funny??"

Gosh, I have a since of humor...

I also have 5 guns I didn't own before. Owned three.

And an addituide I learned but did not earn.

Happy New Year All of You!!

We aren't glowing in the dark and I will feed my chickens in the morning.

And collect 12 eggs.

Thanks Hatti

TP 336 rolls and waiting.

-- Hatti (klavine@tco.com), January 06, 2000.

6 cans of "Can 'O Cricket" and 8 cans of "Can 'O Worms" plus assorted freeze-dried worms and bugs and a whole lot of sardines in water. All for our pet lizard, Jim.

"Can 'O Cricket?!?!?!"

LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL!

Charli,

My "rug-rat" nearly sent milk flying all over the kitchen when I told her about this.

TOO, TOO funny!

For those who have a hard time cutting and pasting: Have a look here!

Have been going through our 'stash', organizing, etc... Been squirrelling away stuff for 2 years, off and on... and forgot where some things were put. Well, today I found some of those items... Why on _earth_ did I keep buying vanilla! I uncovered 15 pints! ROTFLM@O!

-- Suzanne (SuzanneL@webtv.net), January 09, 2000.

Whoops, Suzanne! Get thyself over to the newly created "Barter Category!"

Then again--how long does vanilla last? Hee!

:)

(Always remember that the best way to stop people from laughing at you is to beat them TO it! After that, THEY'RE LAUGHING WITH YOU!)

Um, a package of freeze-dried tofu. (Because I thought it would be hilarious to bring out if things got really bad. Sweetie and I share a weird sense of humor.)

-- Old Git (anon@spamproblems.com), January 10, 2000.

Diapers. Diaper pins. Plastic pants. Why are these weird? Our *baby* is 18! Guess I figured if the world went to h3ll in a handbasket they'd come in handy eventually :O)

-- justme (justme@myhouse.com), January 12, 2000.

Old Git,

How I wish I were your neighbor. Then I could "Lob" this little present at you instead of trying to find time to ship it.

Then again, I may hang on to it for awhile in the hope that I may present it to you in an even MORE public forum. Lol!

Justme, and all, today I find myself thinking that when the "media dust" finally settles on this story, (try December 31, 2000) some truly good things will have emerged because of all of the so-called "fear mongering."

Not gonna elaborate just now on what they might be, because I imagine they will be categorized in many flavors. (As an aside, I thought today's "Microsurf" news was interesting however. LOL!)

Just a gut feeling.

:)

-- FM (vidprof@aol.com), January 12, 2000.

FM/MM,

I don't think I got any preps that could be described as particularly weird. Particularly cool or unusual? Yes. Although I could tell you about some of the weird things I might have got if I had lots more money to throw at prepping at the time. On second though, I better not say! (grin)

Sincerely, Stan Faryna

-- Stan Faryna (faryna@groupmail.com), January 26, 2000.

Maybe not too much weird stuff, but excessive. I uncovered 16 decks of playing cards the other day. ;)

-- Powder (Powder47keg@aol.com), January 29, 2000.

Powder, the cards should come in handy at Paul's pig roast. When things start winding down we can play pinnocole or something
