HI,

Why there is no EPSON Digicams product reviews on imaging-resource.com ??? nor anywhere else.

I just found a review on www.megapixel.net.

Why ? is that product so bad or unused/unselled ?

Where find compares/reviews of this product ? I now own a Canon S10 but not totally satisfy with it because of silly blurs due to 1/15 shutter speed :-( and Canon seems not ready to upgrade the firmware.

We're dependent on the manufacturers to give us their products to review. (We don't go out and buy them.) So far, Epson is alone among the major manufacturers in that they've not chosen to support our efforts...

FWIW, I had some contact with Epson several years ago when they came out with the original PhotoPC, and found it to be an good camera, with excellent color relative to the competition. This is obviously in the distant past relative to their current cameras, but the comments I've heard have generally been positive. Hopefully Epson will "see the light" soon and give us a current camera to review.

I don't have your answer but I am looking for reviews of the Epson 850Z which seems to fit my needs. Again, why no Epson comparisons?

Well first of all. A Very Happy New Year to all you lovely people from a NEWBIE in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Now I have just had a Epson PC850Z for a month and apart from the rather week internal flash ( 10 ft is what I get good, I am going to get an external flash !) I have taken 250 pictures since I have had it and everyone has come out good, I must say though, I use it on FULL AUTO all the time, I am no expert! I having been playing with a borrowed one and love it except for the sluggish zoom. I don't have experience with other digitals so am wondering if all the digital zooms are slow to respond? I love the camera otherwise. I had used a Kodak 260 for couple of days and it is so big and bulky and the pictures straight from Epson to epson printer are really great.
