I just had to talk to someone!! I'm so disturbed by tonight's episode and need to vent my feelings..lol. I'm new to this and am sooo glad to find this place. :) Anyways, I had heard the rumors about Lucy getting killed off the show, I heard she was going to be with Carter, but that she would be shot....not hacked to death! I just wasn't ready for that!!! I was also thinking that it would happen out on the street or something...not in the frikkin' hospital! GEEZE, that was creepy!! I dunno if I can go to sleep now! :( I'll admit, I didn't like Lucy at first, I thought she was a inexperienced little twit that didn't even know how to administer an iv....but in the last couple of months, I thought her character has improved a lot. I wish it was Ming Na's character instead of Lucy, I'm sorry but that girl really bothers me! :) Does anyone agree with me? I can't wait till next week!! (I just hope I can get some sleep without seeing Lucy's face staring back at me before then!)

Yes!!! Shocked me too!! Kellie Martin asked to be let go of her contract for personal reasons and while the episode was verrrry depressing I enjoyed it. My heart was pounding when Carter opened that door, although I don't believe a hospital would play music that loud that you wouldn't be able to hear if someone if they needed a doctor! Next week should be awesome as they try to save their lives can't wait to see it. Your right though Lucy's face is still with me!

I was shocked as well...I had no idea that Kellie Martin had plans to leave the show. I have grown to like her character more and more also. I was very irritated the way Carter was treating her the whole episode but now it makes sense. Also, does anyone know what else "Abby" has been in...she looks so familiar but I can't place her.

I worked in an ERs for a long time, and you're right - they don't let you party and play loud music at the front desk. Parties are confined to the braek room to maintain at least an ounce of decorum out front... helps for hearing heart monitors and patient yells (and murders, if you're on NBC, HA!).

Great episode last night... but it could have worked without the party going on.

I agree on the subject that a different character should have been killed. Particularly Ming Na's. She's an awefull actress, and needs to take a reality check to size her cocky head down. When I first heard they were killing Lucy, and someone else was going to be hurt I hoped it would be Ming Na, instead it's my favorite character- Carter!!!
