OK ... I've been an ER fan since it started years ago. BUT, never, never have I seen an episode that prompted me to HAVE to find SOMEONE to talk to about it! I hope you are all willing to discuss last night because it struck me in a huge way!Never have I been SO moved after an episode of ER. Having those little kids loose both parents was gut-wrenching enough.But, having Carter look over at Lucy, with that dance music blaring and her eyes wild ... That image is going to stay with me for a long, long time. I just sat stunned in front of the TV after that. ER has never been so powerfully sad, frantic and scary at the same time. What a job by Noah and Kellie!

I totally agree. when the young boy put his head on his mother's chest and started to cry I cried with him. The entire hospital was full of death last night never have I seen a show where practically everyone dies. I feel the last scene put a great touch to the show. That scene made me situp in my bed. It was SOOOOOO good. Kellie did her best acting just lying there on the floor you could see the life just slowly leaving her she spoke so much with that look of fear and helplessness on her face. I love this show.

I too was stunned, amazed and sick to my stomach all at the same time! I watched the show in bed and when it was over I could not sleep! All I could see was Lucy pale, frightened, and filled with horror as the realization of what was happening to her sunk in. This was absolutely the most powerful episode I've seen! I too had to find someone to talk to about it. All night long, and this morning the images of the two of them wanting so desparately to scream, speak, or reach out to the other one have been haunting me. This was so masterfully done! Kudos to the makers of ER for their excellent portrayal of this ghastly scene, and to Noah and Kellie for their excellent acting!!

I totally agree. Last night's episode still gets to me this morning. My husband and I talked about it forever after it was over. I'll be a nervous wreck until next week. Noah and Kellie did a fantastic job, those last few moments were so powerful and moving. I will be so said if one of them has to leave the show. But I guess that's life in the ER. The two little kids losing their parents brought us both to tears. I just love this sh

I was so moved, and scared last night I wanted to wake my husband to tell him about the show. It was the best television I have ever watched. I never thought they would top the gut-wrenching "Loves Labor Lost" episode, but they did last night. I still tremble when I think about it.

Yes I agree last nights show was just amazing. It left me feeling very astonished thinking what is going to happened next. It was so scary that I have been nervous to walk into dark rooms alone. I have feelings that someone is behind me. A show has never got to me like that before unless I was watching a horror movie. Excellent job ER for moving so many people like that. I have one question though. After Paul stabbed Carter did he leave the room or is he still lurking in the shawdows? It seems that when Carter looked over and saw Lucy lying there aand he said her name she mouthed somthing to him and closed her eyes was she trying to give him a sign to be quite and lay still because Paul was still there and would inflict more damage if they acted like they were still alive? Or do I just watch to many movies? Anyway, it was the best episode I have seen in a long time.

I too want to know where Paul went, and are they going to catch up with him next week? I hope they catch him! This may seem like a dumb question-but how do you know the titles? I've never seen them appear on screen before. Do they come up before it starts, and am I just not quick enough to catch them?

I agree-great title. Very telling, I guess we'll HAVE to tune in next week to find out if it's true in Lucy's case. I like her character a lot, and you may think I'm cold-hearted for saying so, but now that they've gone this far with it, they really should take it the rest of the way: that is (in my opinion) Lucy dies, and Carter is left to deal with his emotions about the whole encounter. I will miss her character though for sure.

I agree with everything said -- this episode was absolutely top notch! Like lily, I've never HAD to find SOMEONE to tell about it, because it was so unexpected! I don't keep up with gossip on who is in or out, nor do I try to anticipate the endings . . . I had NO idea that was coming, and then for Carter to see Lucy? I've been queasy for hours. 14 to be exact. Those who feel "betrayed" by the graphic nature and detail of all the scenes (including the children who lost their parents, and yes, I LOST it) need to get over it. I applaud the show for reaching this level of total. . . total . . . well, you understand what I mean.

I've been an ER fan since the beginning also. I also found last night's episode, tremendously sad, frantic, and scary. I knew something bad was going to happen to Lucy. I had no idea Carter was going to become one of Paul's victims. I thought Lucy was going to go the diner where Paul had allegedly left his books, and on the way back to the hospital she would get killed. After that scene past I thought maybe nothing was going to happen to Lucy in the episode. Then when Carter went into the exam room, I thought he was going to find her lying on the floor. Then when Paul came up behind him and stabbed, I just sat in my bed with my hand covering my mouth stunned, and shocked by what happened to him. Then when he saw Lucy all bloody lying on the floor it was almost too much to watch. This episode will stay with me for a long time. Just like the one when Mark Greene got beat up in the bathroom. Noah & Kellie were fantastic in last night's episode. After the show was over with I was nauseous, and in shock. I am also now afraid to go into a dark room alone.

This is the first time I've ever gone looking for a chat line, just to see what other people's reaction to this episode of ER. Wow! It was such an amazing episode. I had heard the rumours that there would be something happening, but when it was getting close to the end and nothing really different had taken place, I figured it must be next week. But as soon as Carter went looking for Lucy, I thought something was up. What a shocker! So well played by both of them too! I look forward to seeing more surprises on this show!

I have never had an episode effect me the way this one did. I think that it is very sad that they are going to kill Kelli off. I have watched her since she was in Life Goes On and I think she is fabulous. My husband never watches ER but last night he did and he was left speachless. And of course like all of the rest of you I am still thinking about it today. It is really going to be hard to wait until next week to see what happens. Lots of changes in the making for ER.... I feel like they are all my family.

I, too, have been scowering the net trying to find someone to talk to when my fellow ER watcher turned up sick on Friday. I wasn't really a hard core watcher (I saw an occasional episode) but after this ep. they have gotten me hooked. It's all I can think about. I wonder how the person who'll find them (probably Weaver) will react.

I , too , came looking for a place to see if I was the only one astonished and amazed at the ER episode. It is still with me and I continually check daily for more chat from others and their opinions/feelings on the episode. None of my friends watch ER and a co-worker just made a short comment about how she new Kellie Martin was leaving the show (which I didn't know until then). Very moving and haunting with Carter's expression and Lucy's.. I figured he'd open his eyes and see her laying there but what a shock to see her looking back at him with that glazed look and all that blood. What a fabulous shot at the end of the camera looking down over both of them. It has been 3 days and I still am a little jumpy at night and am still intrigued by all this chat.. I am anxious to see if Rosie O'Donnell will comment on it .. she always has something to say. And good for Julianne Margulies for not even hinting on Rosie the other day about shocking endings coming up.. I am glad I didn't change the channel too soon.. I kept reading the t.v. guide and it said something will change 2 people lives forever so I figured it must be in the last 30 seconds.. you can't blink watching this show.. wish I had taped it...
