I was left feeling very unsettled by Thursday's episode. Lucy's face as she lays there dying will forever be etched in my brain! Is there a site that I can go to to see previews of next week's episode?

Personally, that's the shot that I have a problem with. Too real and close. Hard to explain.

I was also very unsettled by the last minute of the 2/10 episode. Lucy was so pale and all Carter could do was watch her bleed. Is Kellie Martin really leaving the show? I think the worst thing was that I knew something was wrong, especially when Carter was just blowing off Lucy the whole episode.

A lot of people knew about this episode and a lot of people didn't. I think most of the ER news group which a lot of people are in knew more than others. However TV guide last week had an article on the episode as well. I had heard weeks ago about this episode (actually right after Kellie Martin decided to leave the show). I think the ending will effect people for a long time. I had trouble sleeping last night again. We had a storm here and with the lightning I kept imangining an image in my room...now that is pathetic! LOL

I knew that Kellie Martin was leaving the show, but I thought she was killed in a shot out in the ER. The ending of the show traumatized me and I couldn't explain why. Two days later and I still can't get it out of my mind.

Hmmmm... so maybe Carter won't have PTSD like Mark Green did, but maybe he will have to deal with some kind of possible spinal chord recovery. Carrie gets around okay with her cane or crutch, but can you imagine trying to work in an ER from a wheelchair?

What a haunting ending. I haven't been able to get it out of my mind, either. I think the music contributed to the mood, too. Knowing that any attempts to call out would be feeble at best. What a brutal way to leave a show.

When this episode first aired I had absolutely NO clue what was going to happen. I hadn't even seen the preveiw that said the ending was a shocker. My dad brought me the tape and told me that something happened to one of the characters. My first questions were who and are they OK? He all he would tell me was that he didn't know if they were OK because it happened at the end. I watched the episode and WOW was I surprised. I wish I didn't read spoilers, but it is just to tempting.

I thought the Lucy/Carter stabbing episode was fantastic. Probably one of the most memorable and affecting of any. I was so sad afterwards and frankly still am. I never took great notice of Lucy until shortly before that episode, but I cried like a baby when she was lying on the floor bleeding to death and Carter looked over at her and saw her for the first time after he was stabbed. I guess I felt guilty for not giving the appropriate attention to Lucy, as if I had snubbed her or or betrayed a friend. What is also interesting is that Laura Innes (Dr. Weaver)actually directed that episode. Very impressive...
