Okay, that was a great little explosion of entries....however, the conversation would be much more interesting if we could keep the flow going. I challenge all of you to have an original thought or idea. Here's a question for you.....why do you find reading about other people's lives so fascinating? Is it because you haven't got one yourself (as in my case), or are you simply the nosey type?...I've noticed that a lot of you seem to lead very busy lives-why in the world do you make the time to read about someone elses???

other people's lives

Other people's lives reflect my own sometimes - but other people make different choices, say different things, than I would. I like the what if? part of wondering how my life would be different now if I'd done this or that.

All fiction is other people's lives - but OLJ's aren't fiction (usually). It's pleasurable to know that.

skinny dipping into others lives...

Reading other's journals is like reading a good book, but the journals are interactive. Your comments get commented on, and corolations(sp?) to your own life surface and are explored.

I also have to admit that....yes....i do like to watch.
