I am building a garden in an old field/pasture and its loaded with Pocket Gophers. I have tried traps and gassers with no real success. Anyone with any tried and true methods of control. Gary

Try www.alleycat.org for sources of your very own organic gopher traps (grin) I know I never have any problems with rodents.

if you can get a ferret, that will chase them out, might be hard to get the ferret back though

Have you tried the green box trapes? They work great if you wear gloves and cover all of trap except front panel.
