When Kerry went outside and puked, i really felt her anguish over the stabbings. I just keep thinking how i used to regard Kerry as a heartless b***h but last night i felt like the two of us were in pain together

I thought Kerry was excellent in this episode, the pain and emotion on her face made me cry. You could tell that she was so upset by everything, and that she couldn't really do anything to help. This is the first time I remember Kerry asking another doctor to handle her patient (Paul) because she just couldn't handle it. Also, the last scene with Rocket sewing up Lucy, and how she pulled the sheet up was so sad. I really liked how Kerry was written in this episode.

I thought that last scene was great too! The simple way Romano said he had to close her chest and seeing Kerry pull the sheet over her face - it made me cry!

Someone on another message board passed on the info that the final washing, sewing up, and draping of a body is generally regarded as real scut work, left to med students and low-status residents. The fact that Weaver and Romano, who hold two of the highest clinical positions in the hospital, chose to do this themselves says a lot for how deeply they cared for and respected Lucy.
