Can the shutter speed be set for indoor action shots? Is there a way to trick the camera into a better light setting? With the "M" mod set, shutter speed, and ISO is there a way to get a bright/or workable photo of action indoors. Type of action-hockey, basketball, indoor motocross? Any help would be greatly needed.

See my answer to Omar's (see post below) other question on the board, about the C2020 & dance photography. Similar advice applies to the C- 2500L. The limitation will still be a maximum ISO of 400, although as noted, you can push things quite a bit in Photoshop after the fact, depending on how much image quality you're willing to trade off.

Sorry I haven't an answer but would love to know what kind of answers you receive. I am trying the OLY c-2020 and have a similar problem. I need to take Theatre and Dance photo's where flash CAN'T be used, and light is typically strong on the subjects but extremely low surrounding, and the subjects (especially in dance) are very fast moving.
