OK here is my read on Carter.

1.He couldn't make the memorial service. 2.He had feelings for Lucy. 3.He's again on speeking terms with grandma ($$$) 4.a sence of responsibility for Lucy? 5.a heartfelt meeting with Lucy's mom.

All this could equal a story line to open a memorial room or wing to the ER named for Lucy.(I think they didn't touch this memorial point enough).

Any thoughts or opinions?

Interesting idea. Just curious, what happened to make you think that Carter was on speaking terms with his grandma?? What did I miss?
