GICC readers and posters ~

Well, here we are, at the very brink of the ever elusive and long awaited year 2000 Leap Year. I am sure that like me, all of you have heard various kinds of rumors, theories, and innuendos about the kinds of problems February 29th may or may not bring to us.

The GICC will continue to monitor Y2K and critical infrastructure issues throughout this critical time. Please stay vigilant as to all kinds of events/non-events and post them here, along with the link if possible, so that we may all have the most up-to-the-minute information. As always, we are interested in top quality information with the most integrity and validation possible included in the post.

Well, add to this the fact that alot of technology work gets sent to Indian body shops or they bring the bodies here for the projects for a SONG. Plus...we are inviting Indian students to the US to attend college FREE on scholarship. And these are often wealthy Indians who get the scholarships--I guess all in the name of globalism and diversity? Go figure. Good deal, huh? For everyone but U.S. citizens. And corporations are seeking to expand this deal so that they can legally take more technology work away from Americans.

Please don't take this as bigotry (I have lots of good Indian friends) yet I can't stand the fact that we are raping our own citizens for profit. WHY HASN'T THE GOVERNMENT CONSIDERED IMPROVING THE TECHNOLOGY TRAINING WE OFFER TO OUR CITIZENS? WHY DON'T WE INCORPORATE MORE SERIOUS TECHNOLOGY OFFERINGS INTO HIGH SCHOOL CURRICULA? SET UP MORE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS AS PART OF VOCATIONAL TECH TRAINING?
