Stand-in version of Hyatt's SRL Discussion Group

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

Anybody who's been missing Michael Hyatt's Self-Reliant Living forum might be interested to know that there is a backup version of it on ezboard. Not much going on there at the moment, though.

A much better board than Hyatt has:

A-ha! Unless I'm very much mistaken, an agent of the Dorrit camp! :)

Free speech AND anonymity...what a combo! :)

Oh, I'm not an "agent," from Prudent Living, but I enjoy some of the discussions that go on over at Dorrit's board, which she started when things began to go awry on Hyatt's board. I think the nicer posters from that group moved to her board when she opened it.

Someone compared TB Uncensored to a barroom; Dorrit's site is wide porch that looks out on a tidy suburb, but don't let that put you off -- a lot of wisdom has been dispensed and a lot of problems have been solved while rocking on the porch.

I see that the original SRL forum is now back online. With the new, faster server very much in evidence...cough! Cough, cough! Cough, cough, cough!

Drat this blasted cough of mine!

Wish I'd followed my usual brand of reliant or prudent living and ignored Hyatt, Lord and Yourdon. I'd be a lot more self-reliant right now had I done that.

Right on Gilda! Hyatt wants everyone to waste money on his survival crap so HE can be self-reliant. He is the worst of the lot by far and is still at it hot and heavy.

sifting, I'm sure glad you're on this board.
