I, like the many people, are on the waiting list for a new Nikon Coolpix 990. Here are my questions:

1-Do you know the exact release date? 2-Will it come with a case? 3-What are the final colors (eg. grey/purple or red/black)? 4-Will there be a cord tethered to the lens cap?

Thanks for taking the time to answer the quesitons. Nikon is great and I am looking foward to getting the camera.

Thanks for waiting. tiaa-cref huh. My folks are educators.

1) No-I can never give an exact date-product has to be received through customs. Then it must be inspected. Then it is shipped to your dealer. That takes time. It will be mid April with that said.

2) No case in the US.

3) Grey purple in the US. Red black in the rest of the world.

4) No. Optional. (or fishline).
