Christin, you might try the these sites: http://user.aol.com/keninga/medtip.htm www.self-reliance.net/wff.html or do a search for foraging

Looks like I should have typed those differently. Actually I did, but that's how they showed up. There's 2 websites. The first one is for Rhema Publishing: Becoming Self-Reliant, God's Free Harvest and more http://user.aol.com/keninga/medtip.htm. The other site is for the School of Self Reliance. www.self-reliance.net/wff.html. I hope this is easier to read.

Rich, It worked. Thank you. Interesting site, I think you could spend a small part of the millineum on it. I recently discovered www.kountrylife.com through cs forum. You can even color a picture on that site. CS is still my favorite. One of my granddaughter is coming to visit this week, we're going to make dandylion jelly. Looks like the violets are coming up, if we get enough we'll make violet jelly. I understand ajuga and ground ivy are edible. It's too early for poke. Good foraging to you Christin.

Cindy, Don't forget to make one of my favorites candied violets.

I've been going to do that for the last couple of years, Found the recipe a couple of days ago. I thought they would look nice on homemade goats milk ice cream in a frozen flower bowl.
