Two months ago we purchased a Maine Coon cat from a breeder. He was about a year old. We have been having problems with him not always using the liter box. I have tried several different liters diferent locations for the box sprays to keep him out of certian rooms and other ideas. I am very frustrated and hope you have some idea to help thank you. I had a cat with that problem and solved it by re-training him to a crate, large enough for lying down comfee,but also a litter box in the crate wih him(he/she) will not potty where they eat or sleep so the only other place is the litter box!Keep a close eye while out of the crate...I would also speak to the breader you got h/s from ,a lot of times a new home can be very upsetting,I also would say that should be covered under warranty!but give my idea a try I am sure you are in love with your MCand don't want to give him back,as I am with my 4 MC shireen-
