Re.Subject Access Rights Notice.

Does it apply only to individuals.

I want to apply has a director of a Company to a Company who keeps records,but have been informed that Limited Companies are not covered under this data protection act.

Are they correct ?

The statement is true ,due to the fact a Ltd company is not an individual Therefore any details re The company,shares,accounts you will have to go to Companies House or to there website were you will get information re company searches available. The only point you do not state is if they are holding information on yourself and then you can apply as a person to subject access under the Act
