What is the recipe for the Friendship Bread starter and the newest recipe for Friendship Bread that includes instant puding? This is a pound cake like bread that has a 10 day starter added to the ingredients. The recipe has been around for quite some time and is becoming popular again.

Well, here is what I have for the recepies you are asing for:Starter: Combine 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup milk. Do not use a metal bowl or spoon and do not refrigerate. Keep the starter tightly covered.
Day one: Do nothing except mix the ingredients. Day 2- Stir with a wooden spoon. Day 3- " " Day 4- " " Day 5: Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup milk. Stir. Day 6- Stir with a wooden spoon. Day 7- " " Day 8- " " Day 9- " " Day 10: Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup milk. Stir.
On Day 10 you can begin to make the Friendship Bread. First pour off three one cup starters. Save one for yourself and give the others to two friends.
Pour the remaining batter into a large bowl and add the following ingredients:
1/2 cup oil 1 tsp cinnamon 1 cup flour 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup milk 1/2 tsp baking soda 3 eggs-room temperature 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) 1 1/4 tsp baking powder 1 box instant pudding-your choice of flavour

Pour into two well greased and sugared loaf pans. Bake at 350F for 45- 50 minutes. Cook in the pans on a rack for 10 minutes (13 if using glass pans), then remove and cool completely.
