I don't like the way his character has "morphed" over and over during the last two years! Now it seems like the "Enquirer" headlines may come true and his character will attempt suicide?....I miss the Carter from over two years ago when he was compassionate and more self assured!

I don't think there's any suicide pending -even if Noah wyle wasn't contracted for a LONG run as Carter -which he is. No, I think we'll see the 'old' Carter back eventually, once they figure out how to get him past Lucy's death. (slowly but surely)

I think it will take carter time to come to terms with Lucy`s death as it will everyone - some new knid of carter will emerge - for the better I hope and envisage - Cracking two episodes Ihave just watched - England, Cumbria - Cried when Lucy died!!What a turn around for the show -

I miss the old Carter. I'm watching both the new and the old ER episodes at once, and I liked it better when he was like, "Oh, don't tell me you're going with-- your sister. *snicker*" But I guess that's the way you get when you saw a good friend be mortally wounded in front of you. Maybe it's because I love comady, but I miss the comic relieff!!=*(

I don't really like him this way.. there's just something about him that's pointing to a sign that says "I'VE GOT SOMETHING UP MY SLEEVE AND I'M WAITING FOR THE PERFECT EPISODE TO SPRING IT ON YOU!! BEWARE!!"
