When I save photo image from digital camera to chosen folder by selecting jpeg import it comes up as a text document icon and when I click on the image comes up in word pad as text. What am I doing wrong please? Should this be coming up as JPEG image file icon instead. I would like to send the photograph over the Internet.

If you are using windows OS, try this:

1) if you are running windows 98 then: a) open the "start menu" b) click "settings", and then chose "folder options" c) When the folder options menu appears click the "view" tab d) Make sure the "hide file extensions for known file types" is unchecked Then proceed to # 2:

2)If you are running windows 95 then:

a) Change the file extension ".doc" to ".jpg" or ".jpeg"

b) Windows will then tell you that the file may become unstable, click o.k. (It won't) This will force windows to open the file with the program specified in the reistered file types for J.P.E.G's
