I have a 1986 3-door turbo. My mechanic said that it is possible to adjust the "level" of turbo. Is that true? Also, will the brand (Shell, BP vs. Speedway or other generic) of gas affect the performance of the turbo? I always buy the middle or highest level fuel, but lately the turbo seems sluggish. I also wouldn't be surprised that if the turbo is adjustable, the mechanic "turned it down". Thanks for you help.
