Hi There,

Is it possible to delete multiple images at the same time for the coolPix990 digital camera? With CompactFlash cards getting larger and larger, I think there will be a need to have this ability, if not already present.

Anyone know?

Page 67 of the manual "Deleting Multiple Photographs". Use your multi selector (left and right) to move from thumbnail to thumbnail and mark for deletion by moving the multi selector (up & down). When they are all marked continue to the delete menu and delete them all.

I guess it pays to read the manual more thoroughly. Thank goodness. Now it is a breeze to delete my test images.

Unless you need to save some of the images on the CF until you can download them simply reformat the CF instead of deleting images. It is a good practice to reformat the CF from time to time in any event as it consolidates all the free space and makes the CF more efficient.
