So anyone else here seen this kick ass anime all that crap gundam pokemon and any other show can stick thier boots up their candy asses cuz this one is a classic awesome storyline kool quality what else can ya ask for!

Hey I like Gundam Wing, well before it started showing reruns. But Pokemon I agree, they should take it off the air, it's really not that good. I think the game is ok but the show is just..... well you get the idea. Adios

I kinda liked Record of Lodoss War, reminded me of Lord Of The Rings only with a Japanese twist. But you really should see The Hakkenden, now that's a kick-ass fantasy anime!

I've seen the first three episodes of Record of Lodoss War, and I thought it was great. But don't dis Gundam, I love that show. Do you happen to know where I could find Lodoss War? I can't find it on tv anywhere, and i also can't find it to buy anywhere. The three episodes i saw were on a tape that my friend got from some sort of magazine, and then they stopped sending it to her. It makes us both really mad. But i really like those first three episodes!

I agree, Lodoss is an amazing series -- I love it. Although the *older* serieses of Gundam are great, though the new serieses suck...hard.

Well, without starting a broo-ha-ha, I wasn't all that impressed with Lodoss. (Okay, so it had ONE decent Sexyvillian for eye candy -- he was hardly in evidence. Boo. Hiss.) I thought the plot was really predictable, like too many sword and sorcery books on the market today. Formula stuff (but I'm gettin' hard to surprise anymore).

And altho I liked some parts of GundamWing, and the updated art, I felt like I wanted to slap the animators one upside the head and say "Hello! STORY?!?! CON-TIN-UITY?? Know those terms?!" Oh well, get another beer out of the fridge, maybe it'll make better sense then. (or else those animators really had the Saki-goggles on "Yeah, what the heck, we don't have to have a logical reason for this...")

Record of Lodoss War isn't significantly similar to Lord of the Rings. It IS, however, extremely similar to the SNES version of The Legend of Zelda. I have a music video that sets a Zelda ripoff song to video clips of Record of Lodoss War, and the semblance is unmistakable.

Record of Lodoss War is a great anime, though, definitely worth at least renting.
