There is a new company manufacturing and selling Emoscop

AFAIK, Emoscop.com has obtained world wide manufacturing and sales right to Emoscop outside Germany, and is now manufacturing the product in an ISO 9002 certified optical factory in China.

The listed price of $28 for 2.5x version and $32 for 3x multicoated Emoscop is less then one quarter of a made in Germany Emoscop, and the quality is as good.

As EMOSCOP.COM is in cooperation with EMO-Optik of Wetzlar Germany, using EMO machine and expertise to make Emoscop in China.

Emoscop is great for examine fine details of Minox 8x11 negatives

More a query than an answer; I have an EMOSCOP of vintage about 1967. I used to use it through museum glass cases before troubling curators to unlck 'em for me! Mine is now very scratched - its oruginal leather case disintegrated about a decade ago. In '67 it cost about £6.00 or about $10.

Are they available in the UK or does anyone do a mail service to UK if I decide to replace mine?
