My MC is 2 years old. Last summer I had a groomer shave the fur on her body (leaving her tail, legs and face alone). I thought this would help her to be more comfortable in the summer's heat & humidity. She does not go outside. Her fur grew back beautifully, but I can't decide whether to shave her again this summer. Does anyone else shave their MC's to make them cooler during the summer or do they get along fine with their long fur? Thanks.

Frankly, I don't see any need to shave an MC. They will naturally shed hair in warmer weather anyway. Shaving seems almost abusive to me.
