Great Site

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Anybody have any great sites to share? I am particularly interested in any sites about doing things the old fashioned way and stories of people making it back when. Here is a great site. Unfortunately it is not about the above things. I'll add more later. http://www.makestuff.com/

Have to agree with Jan in CO. I copied all the sites and pasted them to a page in Microsoft Word. Maybe my unmowed grass will die or it'll get so deep no one can find me out here. Seriously though, thanks for the sites. Eagle in TX

I'll take a shameless moment to mention my own site:

http://www.kountrylife.com

It has some very unique areas, for example, check out "Memory Lane" where people can input their experiences from the old days. Lots of other good stuff too, I hope someone finds it useful.

Try www.artrans.com/rmsg. It is the Rocky Mountain Survival Group site. There are a lot of links to do things the old way.

I wasn't able to get into the http://198.209.9 etc. site. I kept getting a message that I was not an authorized user and access was forbidden. I double checked the address. Any body else have this problem or is it just something about me? LOL
