I am wondering what the real output resolution of the Finepix 4700 is? I dont mean interpolated crap, I mean the real deal. Can anyone tell me??Thanks

As far as "output resolution" is concerned, it is 2400x1800. It is the way the camera arrives at this output that is in controversy.The camera has a 2.4mp CCD, out of which Fuji does the magic to get to 4.3mp output. Fuji has posted some explanation on their web site as to how it thinks it can do a better interpolation job than others. Personally, I find their presentation quite credible, and combining all the reviews that I've seen, I think the 4700 is a worthwise competitor to most 3+mp digicams.
