Do you burn, tan, avoid the sun entirely, or what? What is your sunburn remedy?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Nayad : One Thread |
I got a bit more sun than I'd expected yesterday. The plan was to go for a short walk, but then the temperature was perfect and the wind in the trees looked and sounded so pretty that I stayed out, wandering, for an hour. Luckily, the makeup I wear on my face has SPF 18, but my shoulders are a bit crispy at this time... They should be fine by tomorrow, but this made me curious about your skin and what you do to, for, and with it.

I'm strawberry bond, blue eyed, and as pale as the people I've met from Iceland. I'm also married to a red head. We go to the beach to hover & read under a huge umbrella. Mostly I just try to avoid the sun, it has proven to be a painful enemy in the past. When I lived in Florida I was constantly coated with thick heavy sunscreen, and my skin did change into a reddish tinge (not a burn, just a color change). It was nice that I could at least get my skin to change color, if not tan.
