Good experience? Bad experience?

BAD BAD BAD! eCost.com, PC Mall and Mac Mall are all the same company (Creative Computers)... I ordered a PDA case from eCost and everything went pretty smoothly. Months later, I order a Nomad 64 from PC Mall and the guy that took my order on the phone said I was already in their database -- freaked me out but it was because I had ordered from eCost.Anyway, my experience with PC Mall was THE WORST! I got two defective Nomads. When I tried returning the first they charged me AGAIN for it which overdrew my account. They never told me their procedure for exchanges... It took calls to them and my bank to get it straightened out. I was unable to withdraw money from my bank account for a week because of them and I had multiple overdraft fees. I finally had to call PC Mall on the phone crying before the salesman said he would re-submit a request to reimburse my account.
I would advise you avoid PC Mall, Mac Mall and eCost.com at all costs. Their prices may be good, but if you ever need help -- you'll wish you paid more. :( What a headache.

I bought a scanner (Epson 1200 Photo) from them earlier this year. Their cost was $75 less than any others that I could find and I got the product within a couple of days. No problems with my order.

No problem here, Bill. I've ordered a CP990, Epson 1270 and some accessories - all went smooth. I ordered the 950 AC Power adaptor because it was listed on the same page as the 990 as an accessory. When I called to return it the lady had a bit of an attitude but nothing serious. I'd order from them again. (And have! Just ordered an CP800 for my wife. :)-John Digipub Resource Central http://members.xoom.com/digipub/

I bought my monitor & DVD player from Ecost.com . No problems at all. On one of the cases, I got a defective set & I got a replacement without a hassle. Also, the shipping costs to ship it back was free.
