Hi Diana- I don't know of any particular courses but I know that many doula trainers in the US are private and are willing to travel. You could contact Doulas of North America at www.dona.com or Assoc. of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators and see if any of their trainers will go to you. Hope it works out! Kirsten

I have recently been in touch with Topnotch Nannies in London (0207 259 2626) who run courses and run the British Doula Association - but I was interested because I'm looking for a doula or at least someone to support me once baby number two has arrived (due 7 May 2001), husband and family have deserted and me and 13 month old daughter, plus large 2 year old alsation dog are left to cope!!!!We're in London, SW18 what's your background, are you or do you know anyone who might be interested?
