Hey, I was ten at the time, okay! I also loved "The Karate Kid"...

What's your secret shameful movie passion? What movies have you adored in the past that you're now embarrassed to admit liking? Hell, what movies do you love now that you're embarrassed to admit liking?

Heh. The Last Starfighter. I remember watching that in middle school. I got bored during it, couldn't follow what was going on. Of course, that could have been because we watched it during the 'last day of school' festivities.

*giggle* I didn't know who Robert Preston was then either.

Okay, okay. Back to packing with me.

You're safe here, Joel. :)

While I can't say much for Porky's, I did have a lot of fun watching Mortal Kombat.

I'll also admit to liking Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and um, last night I watched the Disney live-action version of The Three Musketeers again.

Okay, so I have a weakness for Chris O'Donnell in that one, okay? ;)

Anyone remember the last Starfighter? THAT was a movie I just loved. Still do, really. I kept expecting Centauri to try to convince the park that Video Games were trouble Lovely special effects, for its day, and there are movies being put out now that don't look as good. Of course, most of them are being put out by Troma Studios and Full Moon enterprises.

I confess that I actually liked the movie "Porky's". There were moments during it that my friends and I were out of breath from laughter. But then it came out right at the time when that humour was best suited to our demographic: boys in their early teens.

Closer to today I'd say my guilty pleasures are "Mortal Kombat" and "Spice World".

Is there a witness protection program for this sort of thing?
