I use a Fuji MX-1700 which only has a serial port download. I would prefer not to keep taking the Smartmedia card in and out of the camera to put into a card reader. Can anyone tell me what results I would get by hooking the serial lead into a Serial/USB converter. Everything depends on what speed the camera is capable of pushing data out of its serial port.
