1) I'm new with a digicam. I bought a Casio QV-5000-SX without a case, manual, cable and CD. I found a 6V adaptor to use with this. When I'm uploading the images to the PC it works normally, but when I try to switch to the rec mode it says low battery as soon as LCD is on and turns off. I succeeded once to turn off the LCD before it turned off. When the LCD is off I can take pics with adaptor. It's nearly impossible to turn LCD off before the cam turns off. Is it same with all adaptors? Maybe the problem's with my adaptor.

2) I live in Istanbul / Turkey soplease don't give me support line phone numbers for US.

3) Also I couldn't figure out what the flower/sef timer button is for when flower is sellected.

4) There's an option to put titles on the images. Why does it say Kodak there? What's it for? Can't I write anyhing there? What's the meaning of those silly shapes on that title?

5) When I press the mode button I see 4 shapes. One is video. What are the others for?

regarding your question about the QV5000-SX, I owned one for about 8 months, like yourself without a manual, I worked out the following: 1. The QV5000 uses 6v at 1500 milliamps (I think) and standard adaptors are only 1200 milliamps (or there about). So thats why your camera stops working in movie mode, its trying to get more power than the adapter will allow. 2. I live in the UK so the US tech help line was of no use to me either. 3. The flower picture shows the setting for macro (allowing you to focus very close to small items) 4. I never quite worked out the titling mode, but I think you are suppost to photograph writing (pre wrote on paper etc) and kept within the shapes. It probably says Kodak because you or someone else took a photograph of the word Kodak wrote on something. 5. The 4 shapes you see are movie mode, panoramic mode, normal mode, aperture priority mode and shutter speed priority mode. (I think)
