I have always been interested in past eras, and now I would love to have my bedroom decorated in a classic 1920's style. But, alas, I am stuck! I have searched the internet over and over and over, but I have yet to find any information that will help me! Although, even with the correct information, I am not sure if I can achieve the style. You see, my walls are painted in a really calm light green, and my ceiling is a few shades lighter. The borders around my window are a darker green, almost an olive. I have a bamboo tree, and my funiture is primarily Asian. If I cant achieve the 1920's look, is there another era my room would match up with? I'm so sorry I am writing so much! Please help me, I would appreciate it beyond belief!

try watching films made in the 1920's. they are great examples of architecture and design. even though they are in black and white, you get agreat idea of furniture placement and design. for colors, watch a film made now that takes place in the 1920's. or go a bookstore and look at art books.
