As my eyesight fades in middle age, I am wearing reading glasses (1.5 diopters).

At what distance is the virtual image in an M6 finder?

Will I benefit from an auxiliary diopter or is the image at an intermediate distance like 1 meter, which is very common on SLRs in which case there would be no benefit?

The viewfinder eyepiece is - 0.5 diopters
