Best MACRO shots in a $500 budgetgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread |
I'm new in digicams and had the opportunity to test both the Nikon Coolpix 700 and Sony Cybershot DSC-F55. I now need to get one myself for taking macro's of 1/32 slotcars to publish on our online shop. Don't know which one to choose: Nikon Coolpix 800, Canon S10,Sony DSC-S30 or maybe somebody else has a good advise? An example of the kind of photo's we need to publish on the web can be found here: http://www.slotracershardware.com/images/fly/c36.jpg The macro shots will be resized and 'saved for the web' with adobe photoshop, in order to decrease download-times. Need some help to make the best choice within a budget of $500!

Hi, I've been soing plenty of research into digital cameras prior to purchasing one, and from what I have read the Ricoh RDC5300 has one of the best macro performances of any camera (can focus as close as 4cm. Another one for you to take into consideration (as if the market isn't confusing enough :)Kieron
