hoot,I love your storys and since you share your recipes I will share this one with you from secrets of fat free baking, Whole wheat ginger snaps, 1 and 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 3/4 teaspoon bakink soda, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/4 cup molasses, 3 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate thawed, add eveything but molasses and orange juice,mix well, add molasses and orange juice mix together.coat baking sheet with cooking spray, roll dough into 1 inch balls and place 1and 1/2 inchs apart on baking sheet. use bottom of glass diped in sugar to flatten to about 1/4 thickness. Bake at 300 for about 12 min or till lightly brown. Transfer to wire racks to cool. fat per cookie 0.1 gram, cholesterol 0, sodium 26 mg. whole wheat pastery flour is a little hard to find maybe a health food store or order on line?hope you enjoy, they taste great.

Your both welcome, I know what its like to be on a low cholesterol diet and all the reciepes in this new cook book have almost know fat,I have tried 3 of the reciepes so far and the ginger cookies is the best so far[ although the ginger bread with a little choco sauce is close second]hope you both enjoy them.
