I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to visit to my website about wildlife and nature photography. Besides over 200 photographs, there is lots and lots of information on photography techniques and equipment. There is also a section with detailed information about all Canon FD lenses. I have visited your site before and now took an extensive look. The first impression is that you have put a lot of work into this site. It is easy to navigate, the frames work well in this case and there is a lot of content.

One thing I dislike is the portal, gate, or whatever you call the index page which says nothing but welcome. Personally I would like to be let straight into the site.

There are a lot of photographs. Some are good, some are mediocre. Of the mammals liked the Hyenas (ma204) and the monkeys (ma703). There is a large quantity of bird images, many with cluttered backgrounds or composed with the bird dead center. There are good ones in between but too many of the not so good. The best ones IMO are the Great tit (NBA00098), Black Magpie (NBA00101) and Avocet (NBA00129). With numbers like that you must be risking a law suit from the NBA basketball league :-)

The photo guide is very good, aimed at the beginner. I found a lot of valuable information within the field guide and the conservation pages. The portrait of Hugo van Lawick is a very good photograph. As a former Canon FD system user (still have a few of those F-1s and FD lenses in the closet) I was happy to see a portion of your site devoted to that camera system. Very valuable for those few hardy souls that have not been bitten by the auto-everything, high-tech cameras and are still relying on this trusty system.

Overall a very well planned and laid out site that takes hours to fully ingest. You seem to have received lots of awards, so what does my opinion count anyway?
