I adopted a brown tabby cat from the local shelter last year. Wally has long hair, lots of long hair in his ears, a big fluffy tail, and he is a rather large cat. After looking at different Maine Coon cats, I've noticed a lot of similarities to Wally and I was just wondering if he may be part Maine Coon?

That's a real good question Jeralyn. I adopted a kitten that was abandoned in front of a pet store 1 yr ago. He weighed only 10 oz and could'nt eat or clean himself. He is now a huge, absolutely beautiful cat. After looking at several photos, he appears to be a silver maine coon. He has all the characteristics in appearance and behavior. One thing we know for sure. We do enjoy him. Hope you find your answer.
