Before I got my nigerian dwarf buck Joshua while trying to decide how to keep some of the hay in the manger I decided to build it out of welded 2x4 wire. It is basicaly a square of about 2feet by 2feet. I then cut about six inches in the lower corners cutting next to the wire I was taking out which then left me 2 inches of wire to tie it together. I bent over all pieces of wire so that he would not be able to stick himself. I then used plumbers tape to screw it to the wall in his shed. It has worked real well he is able to get the hay to eat and wastes very little. I may not have given a very good description so e-mail me with any questions. This project takes very little work to do is very cheap or should I say economical and is easy to do. Proof of this is I was able to do it. gail
