Frenzied equity trading in Stockholm resumed
on Friday afternoon after two embarrassing
stoppages, only for investors to hammer shares
in bourse operator OM Gruppen by more than
seven percent.

OM blamed the glitches on subcontractors and
sought to reassure shareholders of the London
Stock Exchange (LSE)LSE.CAZN on the quality of
its technology, on which its hostile takeover
bid for the LSE is heavily based.
