Hi I am very new to the internet. I just saw your question at Black and White World. I have done quite a bit of experimentation with Liquid Light emulsion painted onto handmade paper. I am also very interested in alternative processes such as photocopy transfers. I am currently experimenting with heat ransfers on wood, paper and glass. I've been experimenting with color film lately and found it is possible to create a very interesting negative by processing color film through the b/w film developer process. The negatives retain a very dense quality, removing nearly all of their color, and seem to be very high contrast. The process isn't an exact science however, since color film is very temperature sensitive. It's kind of hit or miss, also considering that color film is not made to produce b/w negatives. It can produce a muddy image, and image quality can be extremely various, even on the same negative strip. Still, it's very interesting, I can't wait to start printing.
