Can any one tell me anything about the existence of the Fredericksburg Bottling Co? When was it operating? What did it produce? Beer or cola?

I have a postcard in my collection which shows the Fredricksburg Bottling Co., a rather fortress-like building, that says it was operated by Lang Bros. Prop. The Leading Beer Bottling establishment on the coast. It is a multi view card that shows the old city hall and the Victorian Cliff House, so this dates it to before 1906. This image is shown on page 86 of a new book coming out in Feb. called San Francisco Golden Age Postcards.A 1913 City Directory lists the Fredericksburg Brewery ofiice at 240 2nd Street and also lists a Fredericksburg Brewery Bottling Department at 18th and Alabama.I hope this helps you out.

While digging in my garden this week, I found a Fredericksburg Bottling co cap. On the back it says PAT D K.Hutter Feb 1,1893. Any idea of when this company went out of business?

I have a bottle which I found last year in the mud flats at the North west end of San Pablo bay. It looks like a beer bottle, with a very thick area at the opening. What type of cap did you find?
