I saw the other question pertaining to the color of lettering on Southern flatcars. I have another question: recently I purchased two Southern 50' flatcar kits made by Athearn. On one of the kits, the lettering was spaced out between the stake pockets, all across the car side. On the other, the word Southern was all together, as on a boxcar side. Since both were made by Southern, which is correct ??? I looked in the Southern color guide by James Kinkaid and the latter description above is what is shown in the book. Comments.................
