... onk?

Well, looking it up in the dictionary didn't help. We'll just have to wait until he enlightens us.
In the meantime, congrats for ..... whatever!

Gee, I'm sorry to hear that. Is there a cure?

Uh, have I overstepped? I thought.....what with the title and all (a natural assumption).....I thought it was good news.
:-)
(Uh, Ms. Cherri, have you cleaned out your email box yet?!?!)

GRRRR off?!?!

Both digraphs *and* bloody arcsines!? Sounds to me like sure-fire symptoms of colloidal silver poisoning.

I've been working on a tool to display hotlists as restricted hypergraphs. In order to restrict the graphs I needed directionality, so I've been spending most of the day resurrecting a lot of old trig to remember how to do rotational transformations. I finally got it working so that my little arrowhead rotates as I move around. So I now have directional arrows, and from there, digraphs.I'm mostly annoyed because most of the problem was caused by arcsin's returning values between pi/2 and -pi/2, and I'd forgotten I'd have to apply a little common sense to get values outside that range.

Isn't that when you want to insert an impossible variable so you can do your calculations, then remove it to get the answer?Something like -0, or something?

Yes, Ms Patricia, I finally figured out a trick that would allow me to download small portions of it at a time between getting kicked off of the blue light special while my legacy ISP is down.

I knew dropping out of high school would hurt me at some point in life.I tried my usual sin-song when faced with a situation which requires math skills: "1, 2, buckle my shoe..."
No mention of arcsines at all. I'm lost. But I'm happy for you, mpc. Ought I be?

Well.....thanks for clearing THAT up.
I certainly feel better now; anyone else?!?!
(Is it that obvious that I'm not a Mathemagician?)
