Well, the time has finally come. Gotta go buy Lil Dumplins Christmas Present this afternoon. I suppose a new double bitted ax would be out of the question!Well anyhow, Glory to God--it most certainly is a beautiful day oustide alough kinda chilly. The sun is shinin brightly and the little birds are flutter'n around look'n fer somthing to eat. Ole Calvin, tha cat, is inside lay'n around bein lazy but thats ok. The little birds and rabbits don't hafta worry nun about their safety.
It's time now to be feedin the birds, rabbits and other wildlife--if you're not already doin so. Dont' forget to put out water too! They n eed lots of drink'n water now along with that feed! It wouldn't hurt to also kinda put a shelter for those little rabbits to get into. An old cardboard box sure beats nothin.
I would like to ask you all to join me in helpin furnish the necessities of life to those less fortunate that we are. Christian Appalician Project [christianity.com/cap] in Lancaster, Ky is a GREAT place to send some money. I understand it ALL goes to help the needy. Feed the Children ,bx 36, Ok. City, Ok is another fine place to help out. If you can just afford to send $10. it will help greatly. Please think on these things as we celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ. Matt. 24:44

Hoot, Thanks for the reminders. The one reminding of the season and the one reminding me that here in Alabama, giving your better half sharp farm tools at Christmas could probally be considered a suicide attempt on the husbands part. Have a Great Christmas.

Hey Hoot, I have the newsletters from the Christian Appaliacian Project. They do so much. They had 900 youth at the summer camps, that's allot. That is where Steve wants to go in the summertimes. My little Eastern Bluebirds sit right on the T-Post looking at me and reminding me to feed them, every time I go in the feed room! 2 boys and 1 girl. They are so pretty.

CAP gets donations from businesses that have leftover inventory too.We go down there once a month to pick up a truckload of stuff for our community.Mickydee's glasses and Aussie skit kits for kids were in the last load. The kits are going to Headstart. We'll distribute the glasses and some craft books and whatever else we get,in the spring. Some things went to my friend's teen moms program for a little something for them for Christmas.
But,unfortunately,a person I know was getting things for herself last year. She works in the county courthouse,no less. She's an awful person anyway. You wouldn't believe the half of it.We have been trying to get her out of our organization, but she's not leaving.
But she is no longer on the list to pick up anymore. Now,would you believe, she had the nerve to tell the other person going down ,to drop off half the load at HER house? Needless to say, that DID NOT happen.
Well,now,I rambled,but I just couldn't believe it, myself.
Takes all kinds....to steal from poor people.
