Oh, you bet, white in Southern Wisconsin (but then, it usually is at Christmas time). Maybe a better question would be who ISN'T going to have a white Christmas! LOL!

it's white here in Kansas City, MO. Hoping you and your's a blessed Chirstmas. XXXOOO REd hen

Western Arkansas here, and they say it will be white, but it will be a snow, ice mix. We don't need that. There are folks who are just now getting power back after almost 2 weeks without from the last storm. We are getting paid back for the last 2 mild winters. We plan to stay in and warm and enjoy the time off. Milking the goat and feeding the chickens can be done without much fuss, and the rest of the time it's in by the fire and enjoy one another's company. Blessed Christmas to all.

The ground has been white around here for a long time. Seems like months, but I suppose that it has just been a couple of weeks.

The weather prognosticaters all agree that we will be receiving fresh snowfall, but can't decide just how much will come down. Estimates range from 2 to 6 inches, to a minimum of 6 inches with blizzard conditions in Western Kansas. The newspaper says it may be the storm of the season. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

Rode the tractor in from the farm this afternoon (16 degrees). Decided if it were here in town I might clear some driveways for friends, or maybe try to make some money to prepare for the next rise in natural gas rates.

A friend in Eastern Kentucky wants snow quite badly. Bobco, we are to send all we can spare. That means all I get here. lol.

South Central Indiana here...and white and c-c-c-cold. But it got to a balmy 27 degrees here today!!! I remember when the kids were little, the winter that it snowed early and stayed snowy all winter. It was March before it finally melted, and the brown ground looked so STRANGE!!!! Wonder if it is gonna be that kinda winter this year??? Merry Christmas to all, and be careful on the roads!

-- Leann Banta (thelionandlamb@hotmail.com), December 24, 2000.

Leann, do you remember the blizzard of '76, and those three years of harsh winters. We haven't had a normal winter for a few years. This year is winter came so early. We usually have this kind of weather in Jan. or early Feb. Somebody told me it still isn't cold enough to kill off any of those awful bugs we've been overrun with the last few years.

White Christmas up here in Nova Scotia. Also COLD!! Good wishes to all.

-- Gary (ggiles@north.nsis.com), December 25, 2000.

YEAH NO SNOW!!! It is 6:30am Christmas Morning and about 52 degrees should warm up to about 70 today. I retired my snow shovel years ago! I hope ya'll have a Perfect Christmas

-- Mark in NC Fla (deadgoatman@webtv.net), December 25, 2000.

In NE Texas, it's 31 degrees and raining. Hope the power holds up. Last time it took the electric company over a week to restore power to all their customers, and it was minor compared to the potential of this storm. Such is life. Merry Christmas!

-- Green (ratdogs10@yahoo.com), December 25, 2000.

Central NH is white, though the dead grass is still showing in our field out back. My middle daughter works Saturdays with the cross- country/snowshoe program at the local ski area, and says she hasn't started working yet this year, because they don't have enough snow to groom the trails. It's windy and COLD out, though, and supposed to stay cold all this week.

checking in here from Flagstaff, Arizona with 5 inches of snow and still blowing! The weather guy yesterday says, clear and sunny, high in the 40's. We awoke this morning to lots of snow!! What an exciting day for the kids. A white Christmas!! Sissy and Steve

-- sissy sylvester-barth (jerreleene@hotmail.com), December 25, 2000.

Put on your mittens, dig out your gloves, cause look out your window the snow here it comes. Throw on your scarf now and your little red hat. We have got to go outside because that's where its at. Let's build a big snowman as fat as can be. We will sled down the hill feeling happy and free. Then when we are tired and chilled to the bone we will follow our snowtracks they will lead us back home.
