looking for early 1900 skyscraper construction site photogreenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Buy/Sell/Trade : One Thread |
Hi allI am looking for a classis black and white photo I had seen approx two years ago.
The black & white classic is of workers at a construction site of a sky-scraper in the early 1900s, sitting on a metal bar, suspended in mid air very high up. The handfull of workers are opening lunch boxes and sharing coffee from flasks with the mist of the city below in the background.
My only thought is that this was the construction of a New York skyscraper.
plse assist

I believe the building is the Rockefeller Center, artist unknown, 1932. I do not believe that it is part of the hine collection.
