I'm creating an invitation fot the baptismal ceremony of my son. I would like to include a very short, but appropriate quotation from the Bible on baptism (something about welcoming an infant to the Church and the teaching of Christ.)

Or, an appropriate prayer would also do.

Can anyone help?

There are many good Scripture quotes for Baptism.

John 3:5 Jesus Answered: Amen, amen I say to you, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

Romans 6:4 For we were buried with Him by means of Baptism into death,in order that, just as Christ has arisen from the dead... so we may also walk in newness of life.
