Well, my ideal date would have to be a good conversationalist. I am not good with awkward pauses and dead air. I like meaningful conversations. Small talk makes me crazy. In my job I have to make small talk with people I don't like or know quite often and this tests every ounce of the little patience I have. Along the concersation lines, the ability to listen is great.

Sense of humor is key. He doesn't have to laugh at everything I say, but I don't want some blank slate looking at me.

At least a passing interest in baseball, Springsteen & the theatre would be great too. But I am not holding my breath. :)

The guy would pick me up, and we'd go out somewhere and have fun, and we'd hug or peck kiss good night, and he'd call me after that, asking when our next date would be.
